Enfojer is a “smartphone photographic enlarger” that enables users to develop prints straight from their phone.
Enfojer is a portable darkroom that develops black and white prints straight from a smartphone, aiming to preserve the art of photo development. The photographic enlarger has been created by Vanda Voloder, Ilija Stjepić, Daniel Bakotić and Leo Gavranić.
The team were looking for a way to print digital photographs from a phone. Enfojer is sturdy and can enlarge pictures from any smartphone or film up to 6×6 format.
Using the Enfojer is really simple. Take a photo, snap your fingers, adjust picture size, expose the paper, bath it, dry it and voila – exhibition ready prints up to 20×20 centimeters in size.
Enfojer is currently raising funds on Indiegogo, where a kit can be bought for $250, which includes 100 pieces of photo paper, a battery-powered red light, trays and tongs. You can learn more about the device in the video below:
