Arctic Driving School Lets Bentley Enthusiasts Test Out Cars In The Wild
Bentley creates a winter wonderland to showcase their entire line of cars, inviting drivers from all over the world for a test drive.
One of the most exhilarating driving experiences you will ever encounter, Bentley’s Power on Ice lets people test-drive their impressive fleet of luxury cars on the icy terranes of the Arctic Circle in Finland. During this event, Bentley will debut their new Flying Spur sedan, an turbocharged car that produces 552 horsepower and 479 pound feet of torque.
As another highlight, four-time World Rally Champion Juha Kankkunen is brought on to be one of the instructors for this year’s course training. Kankkunen has proven his driving skills to the world, and also won the praise of Bentley, which landed him the honorary title “Bentley Boy”. He will be working with Bentley’s team of professional drivers to put together an informative and daring tuition of driving skills.
Kankkunen contributed to the design process of the driving courses, which were fine-tuned to meet the needs of each driver, allowing them to broaden their range of driving skills when faced with severe weather conditions and unpredictable roads. While Power on Ice is a driving school, other activities such as a night-time husky sled safari and Finnish smoke saunas have been added as a bonus to the 4-night, action-packed retreat.
Regardless if you own a Bentley or you’ve never driven one before, Power on Ice is open to anyone with an appetite for adventure and a thirst for adrenaline. For the ultimate driving experience, you can reserve a test drive spot for Winter of 2014.
