Heads or Tails is a collection of dual-purpose, geometric dog toys, bowls and bedding.
A collection of dog accessories by Japanese design firm Nendo was clearly designed with the trendy pooch in mind. The two-toned set consists of a dog bed, dish and toy, all of which are dual-purpose items that take on new forms through a simple transformation. The artificial leather dog bed can act as a hut or more traditional cushion, while the ceramic water dish can be flipped over to its shallower side to serve food. Similarly, the two ends of a silicon rubber toy bone can be folded in to create a ball.
The collection, aptly named ‘Heads or Tails’ was designed for Japanese lifestyle magazine Pen. According to Nendo, ‘as a result of looking for a form that could be stable in two different shapes, the collection is constructed of triangular panels connected in polygon mesh.’
