A prepackaged dinner the majority of the population can't afford.

TV dinners can be sexy and elegant right? Well, one UK epicurean thinks so. Chef Charlie Bigham packaged lobster tails, gold-infused crumbs and white truffles into a boxed meal to heightened one’s palate. With a hefty £314.16 bill, the Swish Pie dinner is probably the most expensive microwaveable meal to date.

Don’t worry, you do get what you paid for. In addition to the already mentioned delicacies, the chef included fish poached in Dom Perignon 2003, Beluga caviar and a selection of the finest oysters. He used nothing but the best – even the salt used was harvested from the Piran Salt Pans in Slovenia. This meal is definitely for those who enjoy the finer things in life.

Bignam said:

We always set out to create the very best versions of people’s favourite dishes. I’ve spent months scouring the globe for the most exclusive ingredients while developing this unique recipe to ensure that it really is the most exceptional ready meal out there.

If you can stomach the check, the meal is available to order online here.
