The London typeface created by designer Antonio Rodrigues Jr. is a font that uses outlines and negative space and lets the viewer fill in the missing areas.

Rodrigues isn’t a font designer, but he creates typefaces for his design projects. The London font was inspired by the classic Bodoni and was initially created for a branding concept.  According to a post on The Fox Is Black, the concept was rejected but Rodrigues decided to publish the font after being asked to release it.

The designer is currently working on converting some of the other fonts he has created and publishing them as functional fonts.

London is available for download on Rodrigues’s website. The font is free for personal and commercial use.
