At this year’s Igeho Expo in Basel, Switzerland, Samsung Chemical Europe unveiled a new interior design concept called Endless Hospitality, a concept that focuses on providing a cost-effective, yet high-end experience.

The Endless Hospitality program was created to provide modern interiors consisting of state-of-the-art technology and cutting edge design for hotels. The concept covers areas such as the hotel reception area, lobby, guest rooms, bathrooms, and wellness spaces, and takes into consideration all necessary systems like lighting, electricity, water, drainage, and communications.

The company showcased their concept with an installation that featured their pioneering material Staron and presented the various ways that the Endless Hospitality concept can be used in the hotel setting.

Among the items featured was a five-star bathroom with a flush system operated by touching the back-LED-illuminated Staron wall surface. Also featured were a wellness seating with internal heating and sinks with concealed taps and mirrors that have integrated infotainment.

Aside from showcasing Staron in all the featured spaces, the installation also showed the use of near-field communication (NFC) technology in enabling electronic devices to communicate with each other. Samsung presented several NFC applications including check-in, payments, and room access.

Samsung Chemical partnered with various companies from Germany, Poland, Switzerland and Austria to develop the comprehensive Endless Hospitality program.
