Bud Light’s Cruise Ship Hosts Massive Super Bowl Tailgate Party

This year's sports event starts off with a 4-day celebration of electrifying music and entertainment.

Bud Light is throwing the party of the year! The company’s four-day pre-Super Bowl bash is happening on a 4,038-person Norwegian Getaway cruise ship, which will dock at Pier 88 from Thursday Jan. 30 to Monday, Feb. 3.

As NFL’s Official Beer Sponsor, Bud Light has invited the hottest musical artists and bands, setting the tone for a few unforgettable nights. Headline performances include Foo Fighters and Imagine Dragons. The Roots Big will be presenting a NYC Hip Hop showcase featuring huge names like Run DMC.

When speaking about the highly anticipated event, Bud Light said:

With the help of our amazing partners, EA SPORTS, Pandora and Pepsi, this year’s Bud Light Hotel will stand apart as one of the premier destinations for Super Bowl week entertainment.


Going above and beyond, Bud Light is even including the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in their event space. To incorporate as many people as possible, Bud Light will construct a brand new Bud Light Hotel Amphitheater, which is set to be a heated concert venue across the street from the Intrepid that will host all the nightly concerts and parities of the weekend, and the Bud Light Hotel Lounge, which is a two-storey, 1,500 person venue adjacent to the Intrepid, that will serve as sophisticated accommodations for guests and VIPs.

Having secured an event space of more than 300,000 square feet, Bud Light is definitely raising the bar for all future tailgates!
