Created at a Wearable Tech Hackathon in London, the Sex With Google Glass app lets couples experience their intimate moments from each other’s point of view.
Like most Glass apps, the app is controlled via voice commands. To start the app the user simply says, “OK Glass, it’s time.” The app records what each wearer sees and by swiping the side of the device, the wearer can change their view and perspective and the app will stream their partner’s view so that the couple will be able to see through their partner’s eyes.
The app also allows the wearer to select mood-setting music and even lets them ask for suggestions on sexual positions to keep things exciting.
To put a stop to the app users can say, “OK Glass, pull out.” Google Glass then puts together a video of the entire event and can play it back for the wearers. The video can be replayed for up to five hours before it is deleted forever from the app.
The app was developed by Sherif Maktabi, a product design student at London’s Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.
