Popular Emojis Recreated In Real Life [Pics]

EMOJI IRL.LOL by designer Liza Nelson recreates the popular digital icons with human forms and objects.

Designer Liza Nelson recreated popular emoji or digital icons using actual human forms and inanimate objects in a series of images.

The tumblr EMOJI IRL.LOL features some of these images including the representations of the red-clad dancing woman, the mustache man, the fist, praise hands, and more.

The tumblr blog’s description sums it up with these words:

Emojis mean everything and they mean nothing at the same time. They’re completely personal and universal. They’re really quite stupid. And they’re the best thing that ever happened to our generation.

Nelson used models, vegetables, paper, and clay to recreate the emojis — paying homage to the popularity of these digital icons.
