A team of designers from Chinese design studio Nanoin Design has redesigned the standard Scotch tape and solved the age-old problem of trying to find the end of the roll.
Transparent Tape has no adhesive at the edges so that the end can be easily found, lifted up and pulled from the roll. The edges are also marked by a thin black line running along the edges of the spool.
The tape uses 25% less adhesive than normal tapes — making it eco-friendly in its own way.
The Transparent Tape won a Red Dot Design Award in 2013.
