Trojan Switches From Sex-Crazed Couples To Family Values In New Campaign [Video]

Condom brand takes a different marketing tactic to revamp their images.

Trojan‘s ads have been known to reflect the heat and passion of a couple’s intimate moment, but the brand’s recent creations are anything but erotic. Following a more family-centric theme, the new series of condom ads, directed by Gavin O’Conner, are charmingly quiet and subtle in getting the message across.

In “Big Date,” a son slips a condom to his middle-aged father who’s leaving for a date. In “Miss You,” a little boy tells his mom just how much he misses his traveling dad. And as she acknowledges her personal sentiments, she finds a Trojan gift from her husband in her room and bursts out laughing. The third ad, “Happy Birthday,” features a couple cuddling up after some early morning seduction.

While it may the first time you’ve seen condom ads that are more dialogue than action, these spots are examples of how Trojan is looking to expand the demographics of its audience.

These ads will be aired on all major networks, but in the meantime, you watch them below.
