TimeAppsule is a greetings and gifting app that lets users send messages that are time-locked for up to a year in advance.

Recipients of an “appsule” will only be able to view the contents of their appsule after a specified time period. An appsule can contain images, videos of up to 15 seconds in length, voice recordings, and notes or messages.

To send an appsule, users need to first create an account and then select a theme or design for their appsule. After selecting a theme or design, they can start filling up their appsule with messages, images, and videos. When they are done creating their collection of “gifts,” they just need to enter an email address, set a time and lock period, and hit send.

Appsules can be locked for up to a year. Recipients will only see a capsule and a timer counting down.

The app can be downloaded from the iTunes store.
