The French fashion house’s sleek luggage set is tailored with carbon fiber materials.
Finding yourself 20 minutes late for an important business meeting or international flight, you throw your bags onto the passenger seat or behind you, hoping they land safely on the back seat. Once you start to push the pedal to the metal, the carefully-placed totes go flying around the cabin. We’ve all been there, and luckily Louis Vuitton has come up with an ultra-luxe solution.
The French fashion house has created a line of luggage tail0r-made for BMW’s plug-in hybrid sports car, the I8. The high-end travel bags are made with a carbon fiber textile and fit perfectly inside the interior of the car, combining the beauty of motor design with high-end fashion.
The Weekender GM i8, priced at $6,555, was constructed to stack neatly on the car’s back shelf. Other pieces in the collection, the Business Case i8 ($6,260) and the Garment Bag i8 ($3,960), match the curves and shape of the rear seats, making them the ideal traveler’s set for a quick getaway trip. All creations feature LV’s signature padlock and the unmistakable checkered Damier pattern in black.
Interested customers can snap up the collection in select Louis Vuitton stores worldwide, starting April 1st.
