Klemens-Torggler-Evolution-Door-4

Austrian company Klemens Torggler has designed a door that gently slides open and close without running along tracks. The Evolution Door was designed based on the concept of rotating squares. A gentle nudge or push triggers the door to slowly slide sideways towards the opposite side of the wall. The technical design of the door allows for new and creative applications of this standard element of a room or structure.

To introduce the product to their intended audience, Sony sold the players in special vending machines at gyms and pools, making purchases as easy as buying a bottle of water.
