“Get a bird’s eye view.” Of your business and competition, that is. That’s the tagline of the Perch app, the latest tool developed by social marketing company Closely for small businesses.

Perch helps small businesses track their social media posts, promotions, and reviews in real time, as well as that of their competitors.

Perch users will be able to see the latest posts on networks like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, Foursquare, Groupon, Living Social, and Yelp. The app includes mobile notifications and email digests so users will know when something relevant happens.

Perch lets users create Watchlists of the businesses that they want to keep track of. It also gives recommendations on useful tech products based on the data it collects about the user’s competitors.

The app is available for iOS and Android.
