Prada Lets Shoe Lovers Build Their Dream Heels

'Made To Order Décolleté' collection offers complete customization.

If you’ve ever seen a great shoe but wished it came in a different material or heel height, then Prada’s new ‘Made To Order Décolleté’ collection would be perfect for you.

This week Prada introduced customizable shoes at it’s Sloane Street store in London. Customers had 48 hours to choose from 9 different models, materials, heel heights, and colors, and their personal creations will then be hand made by the footwear masters. Currently this service is only available in the UK but with any luck, it will be brought back to life in the States.

The shoes are available in a host of saturated, pastel and neutral tones, with material choices including kid leather, satin, suede, patent or saffiano-leather printed patent. Prada offers sole colors in black, lily of the valley or light blue, with packaging in the same shade as the shoe. In addition, customers can add their initials below the Prada logo on the sole.

These customizable Prada shoes start at $825, and all styles, like peep-toe or platform, are estimated to be ready a month after ordering.
