Elbnb lets people add their chargers to a map for others to locate

Elbnb is a new Swedish sharing service that helps drivers of electric vehicles find and use available charging stations. Powered by Renault, the service includes a website where people can register their EV chargers on a map, helping others easily locate them. They can then get in touch to agree on the time and payment for using the charger.

With a name inspired by Airbnb, Elbnb aims to get residents in Sweden sharing their electricity. Just as it is possible to rent a place to stay overnight, people can now rent an EV charger. There is a lack of infrastructure for people with electric cars in the country, so those behind the service wanted to do something about this situation by uniting people to help each other and create a change in society.
