Nissan plans to launch their new service in Paris sometime this year to trial the profile-matching service

Nissan is bringing online social networking and profile matching to their new digital-first shared car ownership service, Intelligent Get & Go Micra. The service will match compatible owners who have complementary driving needs. Those who take part in the car sharing service receive a monthly invoice, based on their use. This will include insurance, servicing, matching tool access, a smartphone app and in-car technology.

The idea behind the program is that drivers use the cars when they need to, and when not in use, others will drive the car based on their schedule. The pilot version of this program will launch in Paris sometime in late 2016. Participants in the program will have a chance to drive Nissan’s new Micra compact car.
