We noted last week that China’s low-cost Spring Airlines was considering offering standing tickets, and they’re not alone in considering seating alternatives. They of course look great, but Newson has added some subtle touches that should make the flying experience much better. The image above shows a self service refreshments case that  will cut down on having to wave down the flight attendants. He’s also added more leg room by making the seat backs out of a new kind of thin, medium density foam.
