The Cat Piano is the latest animated film from Australian studio The People’s Republic of Animation. It’s won the Best Animated Short category in both the Sydney Film Festival and Melbourne International Film Festival.

Ribbit is an open API platform for integrating phone call features into the online world. Calls, texts, and voicemails can be integrated into web banners and sites.
In the demo pictured above, drag and drop features were used to create a pizza banner with features to place an order over the phone. After inputing your number and clicking “Call”, a rep would call you and take your order.

At the Creativity and Technology Conference,  Zoic studios presented their project for “Killzone: Behind The Bullet”. It’s a download-able demo on the PS3 which follows the path of a bullet where gamers can control the camera angle, playback speed, and audio elements. The video renders in real time from the game engine, appealing to the gamer’s needs to see what the graphics are capable of.

At the CaT Conference this week, Bruno Uzzan, in charge of operations and business development for Total Immersion, presented one of the more entertaining displays of the afternoon with his overview of the company’s Augmented Reality endeavors. Augmented reality, he explained, ought to be about bridging the gap between the world we see on our screens and the physical world around us.
