Invent.ory Launch Party
This week was men’s fashion week in NYC, and there have been a bevy of fun and fashionable events taking place throughout the city. Last night on Lafayette Street, chic outlet store Invent.ory hosted their studio launch party with a makeshift photo studio set up to snap visitors and well-wishers. Despite a general downturn for most retailers this year, affordable Swedish denim purveyors Cheap Monday have seen dramatic rises in not just their sales, but also in an overall interest in their brand. Rumored to have been bought by H&M, Cheap Mondays were orginally a capsule collection for Stockholm based counter-culture fashion mecca Weekdays and it hasn’t been until recently that they’ve started invested their resources into their beloved cult- women’s line- which in NYC is almost impossible to find except at Urban Outfitters and Greenpoint- boutique Alter.
