“Hard times is where the good times begin” is the motto of Steve Power’s “Church of the Open Tab” project. Located at St. Louis’ White Flag Projects, the space is a combination of church and bar, that celebrates the seedy dark side of the world where good things can emerge from. Dead musicians, who lived debaucherious lifestyles, but produced great art are immortalized as patron sints by stained glass style portraits on the walls.
