Street Lab’s Minneapolis Balloon Hunt
The Minneapolis College of Art and Design runs an interesting class called Street Lab. Interactive designer Piotr Szyhalski heads the class, which recently saw Sandra Chui Huynh creating a ‘Balloon Hunt’ throughout the streets of Minneapolis

Impress: The Soft Touch Screen
The Impress brings a richer tactile experience to the touch screen. A concept design by DIS.PLAY, it’s a touchscreen with an additional layer of soft, flexible foam. It takes away the rigidity of a traditional touchscreen and enables a more robust interaction with data presented onscreen. Impress has all the regular features of a touchscreen with the extra parameter of pressure, enabling users to literally squeeze out information and form and mold three dimensional objects.
