British light artist Shantell Martin is a busy women. Besides being the definition of Tri-Coastal, spending her time between London, Tokyo, and New York, Shantell has been able to travel across the country VJing and sketch projecting, which according to one recent bio explains as “Using the latest drawing tablet technologies, Shantell illustrates the music that she hears, mesmerizing crowds with art that’s drawn in time with the beat. PSFK Review: New York (Capsule) Show
While we were unable to catch them in Paris, this week’s New York (Capsule) show proved that good things do come to those who wait. The event, which expanded this year to include a neighborhood wide celebration, pop-up gallery, and furniture by Design Within Reach, was definitely not to be missed. Held in the elegant Angel Orensanz center, the two-day trade show featured the creme of the crop in up-and-coming brands from around the world, with cutting-edge indie menswear designers from France, Denmark, England, and New York in attendance.

(Capsule) Show to Take Over LES
It takes alot to make New Yorkers excited about something, but right now the NYC fashion and culture set is buzzing with news of the great events (capsule) New York has planned for next week, coinciding with their upcoming men’s fashion trade show at the Angel Orensanz Center on the Lower East Side.
