By removing the barriers of the museum environment and placing the works in the context of the public sphere, a wider audience was granted access that they otherwise might not have. It seems (from the looks of the artwork) that Poster Boy and Aakash Nihalani had worked their magic overnight, and transformed several of the MoMA&#8217;s art reproductions into new pieces. Classic works of art were remixed with samples from advertising and cut-outs of other pieces. Aakash Nihalani also spruced up the MoMA&#8217;s advertisements and added some nice colored tape boxes in strategic spots around the station. Throughout the complex, reproductions of the MoMA&#8217;s collection have been placed along platforms and passageways for anyone to view 24/7. PSFK went to check out this pop up gallery, and found it to be a welcome addition to the station, adding a sense of place to what would normally be a space to be rushed though on the way to somewhere else.
