More often than not the inane musings of bored employees and drunk students, one Facebook status update has been separated from the chaff by Beverly Hills’ United Talent Agency and literary agency Fletcher & Co., who are pitching it for a film. The status update in question?
“Lisa Hamilton Day’s Pomeranian raided Chinese takeout bag overnight, opened and ate a fortune cookie. Her fortune: You have strong spiritual powers, and you should develop them.”

Banksy's Coming For Dinner

We’re not quite sure what to think about the upcoming movie “Banksy’s Coming For Dinner”. The basic premise is that actress Joan Collins and a group of friends are getting together for a dinner party to meet the anonymous, and infamous artist Banksy. Called “a film within a film” that “questions the very nature of ‘reality’ at every level”, the film is a strange kind of mock-documentary. And while the Daily Mail says it’s a hoax (it’s not the real Banksy in the movie), the bizarre nature of the film is intriguing. Watch the trailer below.

Massify has created an online model that enables filmmakers, actors and even the audience to “connect, collaborate and get films made.”  And now the community fueled site is preparing to release its first project, a horror movie titled “Perkins 14,” set to premiere at Horrorfest III, January 9-15.
