Perhaps taking a cue from Jones Soda, Pepsi in the UK has launched a natural soda where they’ve dropped corn fructose and returned to sugar as an ingredient. The ingredients of the cola drink includes apple extract, plain caramel colouring, coffee leaf, tartaric acid from grapes, gum arabic from acacia trees, cane sugar and sparkling water.
While we applaud the move, we still are left wondering about the disconnect between the Pepsi NPD team and their marketing department who are going to promote it as a club drink:
