Apart from his great work as a producer and DJ, Hamburg based multi-talented DJ DSL has just released his latest piece of work: a 2009 wall calendar. Renowned for his signature club-flyers, Football Wallcharts and sleeve designs, DJ DSL this time applied his hand-drawn style to the year ahead.
The wallpaper sized calendar costs 20 Euros + shipping (in a box), measures are 118,9 x 47,7 cm / 46,8″ x 18,8″ so all your dates and friends’ birthdays can easily fit.
Update: NYers can buy their copy at fabulous Turntable Lab in the east village or use their worldwide shipping service.

An article in German newspaper SZ reports about the opening of Germany’s first men only spa in Munich. The 350 sqm recreational site offers a service range from a 45 min. treatment up to an extensive 5 hour stay. If required, a limo-service can pick you up from your hotel or business meetings. So if you feel like it guys, get yourself a decent pedicure, ayurvedic massage or a high-tech peeling. Strange though that they are offering W-Lan and flatscreens with the latest business news.
There are already plans to spread the Media Spa concept in more German cities, while Berlin’s [...]

Ein Nachtclub mit Umweltbewußtsein
von Jeff Squires in Lifestyle, Trends In The US, Ethical Consumerism, Environmental, Arts & Culture, Design, Architecture

Dazu Mike Zuckerman, Director of Sustainability:

Last summer Japanese architect Kengo Kuma presented his inflatable tea house at the Museum für Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt. The temporary space was set up in the museum’s garden and once fully inflated, covered approximately twenty square meters. The structure’s interior is illuminated using integrated LEDs and fits nine tatami mats, a stove for the water kettle, as well as a preparation room.
