We wrote recently about a secret underground climbing wall in Brooklyn and thought that this invention is the perfect solution for indoor climbing (hidden or not). The ClimbStation is a moving climbing wall that can takes a recent idea and put it into a sleek design package.
The device enables users to select a difficulty setting and then mount the wall without assistance. Secret Underground Rock Climbing Speakeasy
These are the remaining images from an article posted by the New York Times (later taken down) that uncovered a different kind of speakeasy in Brooklyn, New York. In the deleted piece, a writer explored an underground rock climbing club hidden in a basement below Fort Greene. Reportedly, the space has been open in one form or another for 20 years.
