Scion put on another good show today in NYC. They dropped in (literally from the roof) a new concept car called the iQ. Eagle eyed car geeks will probably quickly pick out that in fact this car is a tricked out version of the Toyota iQ. Still the iQ stood out today mostly because everything else revealed at the show was either a luxury car or luxury SUV. In Scion’s terms, the “i” in iQ stands for individuality. Scion to Debut New Concept Car at NY Auto Show
Three weeks from today, More than three dozen vehicle debuts will happen at the NY Auto Show. Scion who originally launched their brand at NY in 2003, have regularly used the show to unveil vehicle concepts. The Hako Coupe pictured above is from last year. Details of the new concept are scarce but in a press release the company did say it will be a micro-subcompact, probably along the lines of a Smart or Toyota IQ.
