While many airlines are struggling to stay afloat, China’s low-cost Spring Airlines is having a different problem: how to meet high demands for its flights. Fourteen new planes have been ordered, however, the company is suggesting that standing tickets should also be issued. The airline estimates that it will be able to fit 40% more people on flights and reduce costs by 20% with standing tickets. Spring Airline’s president Wang Zhenghua explains:
