While we did a brief rundown a little while ago, there was so much going on at the New York (capsule) show that we weren&#8217;t able to fit everything in to just one post. For starters, in addition to some impressive traditional menswear and jeans design, we also saw some exciting new developments on the men&#8217;s shoe front .
The first thing that caught fellow PSFK writer Dave Pinter&#8217;s eye were the Spring Court Organic Shoes which debuted at (capsule). The shoes are actually based on the &#8220;orginal&#8221; Spring Court shoe- which is the first forefather of the modern tennis shoe. [...]]]></description>

Less than two weeks after the release  of the Greenpeace report “Slaughtering the Amazon”, which analyzes  the Amazon cattle industry, Brazil&#8217;s three largest supermarket chains,  Wal-Mart, Carrefour and Pão de Açúcar, decided to suspend contracts  with suppliers found to be involved with deforestation in the region.
Furthermore, the Brazilian Association  of Supermarkets (Abras)  stated that guidelines will be developed to prevent that from happening  again, and independent auditing will be allowed to ensure that cattle  products are sourced only from legally explored Amazon lands.

The organization has set up an independent panel to aid in the discussion surrounding their movement towards creating more transparent business practices.
