Located in a spacious bi-level loft apartment near the water in Williamsburg, a changing roster of three chefs and a bartender converge on most Saturday nights to transform the space into a covert supper club. A typical menu includes original artisanal cocktails, a painstakingly prepared five course meal and unlimited paired wines, all for $25.Dining and socializing for those lucky enough to be admitted off the long reservation list is done around large, communal tables.

Transient Diner: Apprentice Chefs Test Their Skills

Tired of taking the back bench in five star kitchens, an anonymous apprentice chef  from Sydney created Transient Diner to give other apprentice chefs the opportunity to try their luck at running a ‘virtual’ restaurant for a night.
Those lucky enough to partake in the experience must locate a possible venue, design the menu, create a restaurant theme and source staff, testing their skills without the responsibility of financing a real restaurant.
