Where The Wild Things Are Featurette
In this short ‘featurette’ Maurice Sendak and Spike Jonze speak about the forthcoming film version of the iconic children’s book Where The Wild Things Are. Although there is limited information about it, the film has already got a lot of buzz online as spectators are excited to see how Jonze has brought Sendak’s book to life. In fact, Sendak remarks in the clip that Jonze has managed to make a ‘peculiar’ film in keeping with the book.
The film open in the US on October 16.

Where the Wild Things Are Figurines
There is a ton of anticipation over Spike Jonze’s upcoming reimagining of the classic children’s book Where the Wild Things Are, and now enthusiasts can own a little piece of the magic. Medicom has produced a set of Where the Wild Things Are figurines, including a range of wild things creatures as well as the hero Max himself. The vinyl toys will be available in Fall 2009 – just in time for the movie release.

WTWTA: Let The Rumpus Begin
