Katie Stratton, new business development manager for Google, spoke at PSFK’s launch event for our Future of Retail Report about how retailers can take advantage of the far-reaching possibilities of Google Hangouts to provide customer service across time zones and geographic areas. She said,

The internet is pretty static, you go on and you’re searching around and you’re seeing many examples of your consumers potentially trying to find you online today, but there’s not really a way for you to be live there instantly and connecting with them in a real-time way.
