PSFKers even caught some hip urban teenagers on the subway the other day serenading the other passengers with the Venga Boys dance ‘anthem’ We Like To Party after they spotted an ad from the Six Flags campaign.

In a sector not known for originality, the success of the ads fronted by a techno-dancing octogenarian has not only surprised the marketing team at Six Flags but perhaps everyone else: In a survey by Ad Track USA 39% of respondents liked the ads ‘a lot’ (compared with an average of 20%)!! And Mr. Six has become so popular so fast that the merchandise with his image on has sold out. Time for a return to old fashioned values or just funny old geezers?
