In 1984 the first Band Aid Single “Do they know its Christmas” spawned a whole raft of charity singles and culminated in the fantastic trans global concert Live Aid and generally led to whole lot of goodwill being generated.  On Sunday a cover of the original song was recorded in London by a host of A List pop star.  The result while not fully convincing the UK music industry will still surly make the coveted Christmas number 1 slot and influence a whole host of other artists to collaborate on more charity singles.
