After testing AdSense contextual ad distribution in a handful of RSS feeds over the past few weeks, Google is opening up the beta program to all of its publisher partners, ClickZ reports. Ads placed in Google’s AdWords system for contextual distribution will automatically begin appearing on feeds.

Meanwhile, Reuters reports that the Googlers have released a desktop search product for businesses with the aim of helping workers more quickly find information on the Web, in their computer hard drives and e-mail inboxes, as well as on corporate intranets.
