Sukamar wrote to us to tell us about his ‘Hyper User’ hack concept that demonstrates, he believes, how Apple could attack the smartphone market.

Taking inspiration from SDIO devices from companies like Pretec that can be connected to smartphones, he decided to create a picture of what an iPod SD could look like (click to enlarge) – where the power unit was replaced by a USB connector. Also he figured that Apple could use the Sandisk USB in
SD design so that it could go from Smartphone
to Computer without cables. The power would come from the cell phone’s battery.
