The New York Times mag also had a great write up on one of our favourite e-newsletters, Flavorpill. Flavorpill might seem to be an entertainment listings email for some of PSFK’s favorite cities (London, Chicago, New York, LA, San Francisco) – but to the 180,000 subscribers Flavorpill acts as a culture filter:

"Often the approach in giving consumers choices is to give them as many as possible — particularly on the Web, where sprawling troves of data are prized. But here the strategy is the opposite: to act as a filter."
