A few years ago if anyone talked about ‘mashing' it would invariably have something to do with potatoes.  Nowadays, ‘mashing' is a term used to describe two or more songs being morphed together to create a new one.  With the explosion in ownership of simple music programmes such as Garageband it has become very popular.

Masheduptown is one of the first blogs to feature mash-ups.  My favourite is the old school Rock and Roll Mashup taking Queen's ‘We Will Rock You' and Mashin' it up with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts ‘I Love Rock and Roll'… fantastic!
