Back in 1999, a young Londoner was seen as the saviour of UK hip hop with his Mercury Prize nominated album Brand New Second Hand. Then he hit us with the dub tones of Run Come Save Me. An all time classic. Now, the Londoner returns with his album Awfully Deep where he gives us "a troubled work where he battles with the twin demons of depression and mental illness." The album is released
on Monday on Big Dada – and tours the UK from
November 23. We have great expectations.
