Finally. Trader Joes beings their goodness to Union Sqaure in Manhattan. We're looking forward to the introduction of competition and zany shirts into the city. Trader Joes sells decent good food – about 80 percent of what it sells carries the Trader Joe's label – and popping for some goods is always a treat for the urbanite when traveling through the ‘burbs. There's some competition – a fine but pricey WholeFoods on Union Square and a glamourous but pricey Balducci's over on 14th & 8th. But we can't wait.
