Recently, every man and his dog wanted to set up a charity or business support organization. The sincerity of some projects became unclear. In UK fashion, a handful of organizations gave support groups back their credibility; Fashion East and Fashion Fringe to name a few. Also, the Centre for Fashion Enterprise (CFE) can be placed in this bracket – it helps the cogs of luxury UK fashion to turn – placing raw fashion talent under its wing to mold their commercial skills.

Past designers that have received help from CFE are Basso and Brooke, Erdem, Yuko Yoshitake, Chris Lui, Charlotte Vasberg and Martin Andersson (pictured below). And with most of these designers grabbing the attention of global fashion doers who can question the projects success?
