Tech-ents magazine Wired has launched a number of blogs to compete in the crowded we-media space. Blogs include Danger Room (a military tech site), Wired Science, Game|Life, Gadget Lab and Epicenter (business blog). Some like Danger Room and Game|Life are better than others and while Chris Anderson might say that they’re determined to give the Gawker empire a run for their money, they currently lack the community, frequency and editorial attitude to give them an edge.
