Planners tend to be a fairly amiable and social bunch. Many can be found propping up the bar at the agency’s local watering hole, whilst others like nothing more than to go from desk to desk picking up the latest industry gossip. It therefore comes as no surprise that planners have been the largest group in marketing to adopt blogging.

Faris over at TIGS has decided to put planners sociability to good use by creating a social network for planners.

“In my ongoing quest to get people to hang out more and that, I’ve set up a Ning for the Plannersphere – a social network thing for planners and plannery types. And anyone else who wants to hang out with us.
