Ladies, start chilling those mugs: introducing Charli, Heineken‘s sparkling cider brew “for women”. The drink, which the Dutch beer brewer is expected to soft launch soon, is a combination of cider, barley malt and fruit flavors. Sold both on tap and in bottled form, Charli will even have its own stylish tap which will help draw attention to the sexy new drink. Charli is marketed to the 63% of women who, according to Heineken, don’t like their main brew.  17 bars in Amsterdam and Deventer will offer the drink from this Friday until the end of October, followed by a nationwide launch in Summer 2008.
