DreamHack, the worlds largest computer festival kicks off today in Jönköping, Sweden. Last year, the event attracted over 10,000 people to compete in various games such as Quake World, Tekken and Street Fighter. There are also demo-coding competitions and awards for the best World of Warcraft Guilds- the winner will sack in $45,000!

Putting on an event of this magnitude requires some serious hardware. The worlds largest LAN (local area network) will be supported by a bandwidth of 40 gigabit per second with a capacity of 92 terabit per second!
