Microsoft has introduced the latest version of their gaming development toolkit XNA. XNA is aimed at “hobbyists, academics, and small, independent game developers”. The toolkit promises easy DIY game-creation for the platforms XBox 360 and Windows. It also features networking support, enabling developers to produce online games using Microsofts Windows/Xbox Live service.
