When Polaroid announced their halt of instant film production,  an era of instantly anonymous gratification ended. No more can you snap off over-saturated, beautifully mis-happed skin-tones on 3×3 sheets of plastic & reminisce over the things you don’t necessarily want the developer to gander at.

We see picnics outside, random props and apartments, birthday parties and eventually, effects of cancer upon the photographer himself…this is a remarkable and heartfelt ode to Poloroid’s impact upon culture.
